Hanna School welcomes children from Kindergarten to 8th standard. It includes not only children from our orphanages but also children living in the neighborhood.
The school is opened from Monday to Friday – 9 a.m to 4 p.m. Teachers are employed and paid by EWM.
Our vision is to provide a high standard of education for these children and to help them develop a strong character and sense of citizenship. The children are so glad to learn how to write and read. They consider it is a great privilege to get a proper education in a country where 50 % of the children give up their studies at primary school level and about 30 % of the population of India is illiterate.
