Psalm 10:17-18

You, Lord, hear the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry, defending the fatherless and the oppressed, so that mere earthly mortals will never again strike terror.

Victory is coming your way

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

We read in Romans 8:28, We are assured and know that (God being a partner in their labor) all things work together and are (fitting into a plan) for good to and for those who love God and are called according to (His) design and purpose.

Life is full of challenges. A life without challenge just simply does not exist. No one likes coming under attack, nor know that they come and we must learn how to deal with them properly

I may not be able to stop the attacks from coming my way but I can choose how I will react to them. I can either throw up my hands and ask, “Why is this happening to me?” or I can declare, “Somehow this is going to fit into a plan”. It’s my choice!

Since God is my “partner”. according to the Amplified Version, then I choose to believe that He will turn every adversity into victory. I realize that it is difficult to understand sometimes how God can turn something meant for bad into something good. However, He says that He can, so my part is to simply trust Him.

Make no mistake, God is not the author of the bad things that happen in our lives. However, according to what Paul is telling us in this verse, He will cause them to fit into a plan, I like to say, “God is working on something”

Failure and defeat are not God’s plan our lives. If you have experienced failure then just remember that it’s not final. 2 Corinthians 4:18, (….) for the things which are seen are temporal (…..) Amplified version (……) brief and fleeting (…..)

Just because we failed, doesn’t mean that it’s over. Choose to keep on going and remember, God is working behind the scenes to make all of this fit into a plan.

The Bible constantly tells us to be courageous and to fear not. Someone once counted all the “Fear not” in the Bible and discovered that there are 365 verses with this command. That’s one for every day of the year.

God knew that we would be faced with the opportunity to fear every day, so He provided an encouraging word for us to stand on. An example is Isaiah 43: 1-3 “Fear not (….) when you pass through the waters (….) they shall not overflow you, When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned (…..) For I am The Lord your God, I will be with you.

No matter what you are going through today, remember, God is working on something that’s going to bless your life.

Remember, God is working on something!

VICTORY IS COMING YOUR WAY!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

“But the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people.” (Luke 2:10)

We give thanks and praise to God for all our EWM friends and partners. Through your prayers and financial commitment you have helped us to proclaim the Good News, and show God’s love, by bringing aid to the poor and needy in India and Nepal. As Christmas is coming close, please consider how you can further help us to share the Joy of Christmas this year.

We seem to hear little but bad news from all around the world these days, but we should never forget what the Bible declares: “And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:14) One good way of “preaching” the Good News would be to start by celebrating Christmas, and emphasising the birth of Jesus Christ. People need to know more about Jesus, especially in the times we are living in. Isn’t Christmas the best time to let the world know that Jesus Christ is the only Lord and Saviour? This is Good News for everyone!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
