NEPAL QUAKE: UPDATES!

The recent earthquake that hit Nepal on April 25 brought lots of damages and many lives were lost. Thousands of people became homeless and a large number of children end up orphans after this great disaster. Our team split in different locations in the mountains to make a survey of the situation and evaluate the needs so we can provide an effective assistance to the victims of the earthquake.

At EWM children’s home, life gets smoothly organized. The children don’t go to school at the moment. We have established a daily routine to keep the children busy. Every evening, after a warm meal, the children pray together for the victims of the earthquake and for EWM partners. They sleep under the tent that we set up in the garden. Despite these conditions, the smiles of the children bring joy to us.

We value your prayers for EWM Nepal Relief Operation Team and for Nepal.

NEPAL UPDATE!

For now, the situation in Nepal is stalled. Our staff and Pastors of EWM branch churches are doing their best to help as much as possible the victims of the earthquake. It is very difficult to find safe drinking water and buy food in stores. In Kathmandu and villages around, thousands of people are sleeping outside under tents as their homes are unsafe to stay in. Life is difficult for everyone and it seems it will takes months to come back to normality.

We have decided to send a team from India to bring emergency relief for the children and the victims of nearby villages. Hopefully, they will reach Nepal within few days. We value your continue prayers for the people of Nepal.

If you or your church would like to help the EWM relief operation, please make a donation. Many thanks for your continued interest and support.

NEPAL: URGENT NEED!

Here are some news from our orphanage in Nepal. The children and the staff are doing fine. They are sleeping outside, under a tent since Saturday. Due to many tremors, it is not safe to sleep inside the building yet.

Our staff and Pastors with their members started to help the victims, rescuing some people from collapsed buildings and bringing the children who lost their families, feeding them and taking care of them.

As soon as we have new photos from our mission work in Nepal, we will put them in our website.

We thank you for your financial help and prayers.
